Seth Goodstein is a second-generation Tacoma attorney who founded ROI Law Firm in 2019. Prior to establishing the Firm, Seth worked for municipal and private clients on significant land use and governance matters, with frequent practice before administrative boards and appellate courts. Seth has an extensive construction background and operates long-term and short-term residential rental properties in Washington State and Texas.

Admissions: Washington State, Florida, US District Court for the Western District of Washington, Western District of Washington Bankruptcy Court, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.


Ramita Bains is a litigator with a focus on real property disputes and transactional real estate matters. Drawing from both her professional experience and her personal involvement in complex real estate investments, Ramita brings a practical and results-oriented approach to her clients’ legal challenges.

Alongside legal training in Canada and the United Kingdom, Ramita holds an LLM from the University of Washington.

Anthony McGrath is ROI Law Firm's Senior Litigation Associate. Barred in Washington State in 2018 and a Minnesota Law School Alum, Mr. McGrath is responsible for taking cases from client onboarding to settlement or trial and beyond if necessary.  His specialty areas are personal injury and insurance claims handling law, federal and state housing anti-discrimination law, real estate transaction disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, ejectment and post-foreclosure evictions, and contract drafting.  Mr. McGrath lives in Bremerton and likes to spend his free time taking care of his cats, target shooting or relaxing with a nice cigar.

Christopher Sohn is an associate attorney who graduated from Seattle University School of Law and was sworn into the Washington State Bar in 2025. As a second-generation Korean American who has lived in the Tacoma area his whole life, Chris hopes to use his skills to diversify the legal profession and assist the local community.

Eric Krening (Of Counsel), is a skilled and seasoned litigator with over 35 years of litigation, appellate and criminal law experience in a wide range of subject matters in multiple jurisdictions—from Idaho where he began his career as a Supreme Court Law Clerk—to Hawaii and back to Washington.  He has also litigated cases in Colorado, New York and California.
